Roof insulation of 100 households carried out under 'Simple Solutions' campaign

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Initiated by the “Switch Off Air Pollution” project with an aim to reduce air pollution in Ulaanbaatar, the “Simple Solutions” campaign is being successfully implemented jointly with the Songinokhairkhan and Sukhbaatar District Red Cross Society. Within the framework of this campaign, an online campaign was launched for 2 months to educate the public on how to reduce heat loss in a house with simple and low-cost solutions, and to raise awareness about the importance of every step taken to increase energy efficiency in the house to fight against air pollution.
In addition, 100 families from Songinokhairkhan and Sukhbaatar districts who actively participated in the campaign and disseminated the knowledge and information gained from the campaign to their neighbors and nearby communities were recognized for their contribution to the fight against air pollution and were given the 5-cm thick roof insulation.
