67 new COVID-19 cases reported

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At a daily briefing of the Ministry of Health today, it was reported that 67 new cases of COVID-19 – 63 in Ulaanbaatar city and 4 in Zuunmod, Tuv aimag – have been detected after testing 21,626 people nationwide in the past 24 hours.

 

62 of the new cases are close contacts of previously confirmed cases and the sources of the other five are being investigated. In Ulaanbaatar, 20 cases have been detected in Bayanzurkh district, 4 in Songinokhairkhan district, 13 in Bayangol district, 17 in Khan-Uul district, five in Sukhbaatar district, and four in Chingeltei district. 58 people have been discharged from the hospital in the past 24 hours after recovering from the virus

 

Mongolia has so far recorded 3,228 confirmed cases, of which 78,6 percent or 2,539 have made recovery.
