Designed equipment for vaccine storage and transportation becomes ready

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During its irregular meeting, the Cabinet members heard a report on current situation of COVID-19 in Mongolia and response measures.
- Vaccine storage equipment and transportation in the first turn has become ready. Healthcare workers and civil special servants who are working in risky condition and elders will be vaccinated for a start.
- As of February 13, 2021, 1.9 million people have been involved in rapid and PCR testing.
- As of February 6, a total of 9,143 people have submitted requests to return home, of whom 2,773 with emergency. 28,862 Mongolian nationals have been repatriated by charter flights and through border checkpoints up to today.
- 1,900 rooms in 40 hotels are being used as isolation facilities in the capital city. 1,012 rooms in 20 hotels are ready for isolating close contacts of confirmed cases and citizens arrived from overseas countries and 446 rooms in 11 hotels have been registered for possible use in the future.
