Labor Minister attends Ministerial Forum of UN Social Development Commission's 59th session

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 59th session of the United Nations Commission for Social Development being held under the priority theme of ‘Socially just transition towards sustainable development: the role of digital technologies on social development and well-being of all’ from February 8 to 17.
On February 9, Minister of Labor and Social Protection A.Ariunzaya took part in the session’s Ministerial Forum on ‘Promoting multilateralism to realize inclusive, resilient, and sustainable recovery from COVID-19 in the context of the decade of action and delivery for sustainable development and its social dimension’ as a panelist. At the forum, Minister A.Ariunzaya presented the government’s policies and measures on sustainable development, employment, social welfare, social insurance, population movement, digital transformation, and pandemic response.
Some department directors of the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection will attend plenary and parallel meetings scheduled as part of the 59th session.
