33 new cases detected in six districts of Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. It was reported during today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health that 33 new cases of COVID-19 were detected after 21,387 tests performed nationwide over the past 24 hours.

All of the new cases were reported in the capital city, of which 29 were detected in six districts as a result of the contact tracing and four were recorded in a newly identified cluster.

As of today, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia reached 2,207 and 76 percent or 1,818 of them have been recovered.

Currently, there are 568 people undergoing treatment at hospitals.
