Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting on February 10, the Cabinet made the following decisions:
Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene had a meeting with national Communications and Information Technology staff on February 5. Accordingly, a public-private partnership
working group is to be set up to support businesses in entering global
markets, look into the possibility to provide tax relief for startups, attract
foreign investment, and establish mutual funds.
In the country, 1,583 people are currently being quarantined at 28
quarantine facilities. 820 rooms with 1,147 beds at 19 hotels are ready for use. 278 emergency
response, police, and health care staff are working at the quarantine facilities.
Two vehicles will be provided to Khan Khentii Strictly
Protected Area from the state reserve for the prevention of illegal mining
activities in Noyon Mountain Strictly Protected Area, and environmental
restoration and protection. In May 2020, the nature reserve around Noyon
Mountain located in Mandal soum of Selenge aimag and monumental areas around
the mountain in Bornuur and Batsumber soums of Tuv aimag was expanded to 22,320
hectares and the category of the areas around the mountain was upgraded to
‘Strictly Protected’.
