Governor D.Sumiyabazar meets Chinese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Governor of Ulaanbaatar city and Mayor of the Capital city D.Sumiyabazar received yesterday Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui.
During the meeting, Governor D.Sumyabazar thanked the Chinese government for the contribution to the creation of comfortable living environment for the citizens, improving the city's appearance and reducing traffic congestion through successful implementation of major infrastructure projects in Ulaanbaatar with its soft loan.
The mayor expressed interest in further expanding cooperation between the two sides for the city's social and economic development and working to improve infrastructure including the construction of a new Ikh Toiruu road, the renovation of the Peace Bridge and increasing number of tunnels in the city.
Ambassador Chai Wenrui said, “We are pleased that Mongolia
and China have set an example of cooperation of neighboring countries in the
face of the pandemic, and that Mongolians made donation to the Chinese people.
As Ambassador, I am ready to work together for the friendly relations between the
people, cities and local communities of the two countries as well as the
development of Ulaanbaatar city”.
