'Vacation Cheaply' online expo underway

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Environment and Tourism, Tourism Department of the capital city, Mongolian Tourism Association, Mongolian Hotels Association NGO and iHotel LLC are organizing the ‘Vacation Cheaply’ virtual travel fair from January 27 to March 31.
The Environment Ministry has set a goal to support tour operators, tourist camps, resorts, and hotels in the tourism industry amid the COVID-19 crisis. The virtual travel fair is aimed at boosting the domestic tourism industry and providing discounts and special offers to customers.
At the expo, over 80 tourism businesses including hotels, resorts, and tourist camps based in Ulaanbaatar and rural areas are for the first time offering their services at up to 50 percent discount and allowing customers to plan their travel beforehand at discounted prices.
Moreover, the online event is allowing its visitors to know more about the capital city Ulaanbaatar, 21 aimags, local tourism products and services, and natural, historical, and cultural heritage attractions.
