MNCCI and SDC to cooperate in increasing non-mining export

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On January 29, President of the Mongolian National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MNCCI) O.Amartuvshin received Head of Swiss Cooperation in Mongolia, Dr. Stefanie Burri.
During the meeting, Ms. Stefanie Burri presented outcomes of the Green Gold- Animal Health Project, which has been implemented in Mongolia since 2004, and ongoing works on entering Mongolian animal-origin products into European and Swiss markets and drawing investment.
The Green Gold-Livestock Health Project will be completed in September this year and special attention has been paid on promoting non-mining product export, creating jobs in rural areas and manufacturing value-added final products. In particular, gloves made of yak wool and leather football are being prepared for export.
President of the MNCCI O.Amartuvshin voiced to cooperate with the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation at the policy level in increasing non-mining export.
