COVID-19: 13 new cases detected

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. “Thirteen new cases of COVID-19 have been detected in Mongolia, all in Ulaanbaatar, after involving 13,773 people in PCR testing nationwide yesterday, January 8,” reported A.Ambaselmaa, Head of Surveillance Department of the National Center for Communicable Diseases (NCCD, today.
Newly confirmed cases are the close contacts of the
previously confirmed cases of Achtan hospital, Tenuun Ogoo Company and
Bayanzurkh central hospital. Therefore, the total COVID-19 cases in Ulaanbaatar
city has reached 584.
As of today, total COVID-19 cases in Mongolia reached 1408,
with 896 recoveries.
