Ulaanbaatar Mayor meets Indian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of the Capital City and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of India to Mongolia Mohinder Pratap Singh on November 10.
At the meeting, Governor D.Sumiyabazar expressed his hope
that the Indian side will cooperate with Ulaanbaatar city government in reducing air pollution and traffic
congestion, improving public transport, and developing ger districts in
Ulaanbaatar, the social and economic hub, and making it a green city.
Ambassador M.P.Singh undertook to place emphasis on further intensifying cooperation in information technology, human resources, education,
and culture and stressed that the project on the establishment of a joint
Mongolian-Indian school is continuing smoothly.
The Indian Ambassador also supported Governor D.Sumiyabazar’s
request to establish relations with the Indian state of Gujarat that rapidly
developed when Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi was its Chief Minister and
learn from its experiences.
The sides agreed to cooperate in the development of the large
city just as they successfully elevated their cooperation with the launch of the major project.
