Three new COVID-19 cases detected in Mongolia

At today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health, D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center of Communicable Diseases (NCCD), reported that three positive cases were detected in Mongolia in the past two days after 613 tests were carried out at laboratories nationwide.
The cases are two Mongolians, who arrived on a charter
flight from India on October 20, and a freight truck driver, who entered the
country through Altanbulag border checkpoint on November 2. They tested
positive for the coronavirus after their repeated testing.
Therefore, the total COVID-19 cases in the country have reached 352, with 314 or 89.2 percent recoveries. Currently, 38 patients, including 16 freight truck drivers, are receiving treatments at the NCCD. Out of 16 freight truck drivers under treatment, 12 are foreign citizens.
