Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On October 30, the first workshop on
the new digital ‘OSGAP – Occupational and Skills Gap Analysis Platform’ was
held. The platform will provide far-reaching information for policymakers, Technical and Vocational Education and Training training institutes, employers and students in the Mongolian construction
sector.
By connecting data on labor demand and supply, it will be able to spot what are the crucial skills of employees in the future, market gaps in professions and where on-site training is provided. At the end of this year, the new platform will be finally ready and will transform the construction sectors by making them digital.
The Build4Skills project is a global project and implemented
in Mongolia and Pakistan with the
support of GIZ financed by the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and
Development (BMZ).
