25 police officers learn sign language
SocietyUlaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Specialists from the General Authority for Development of Persons with Disabilities taught sign language to police officers. As a result of the training held on October 26-30, 25 officers became sign language interpreters and guides.
When receiving calls and checking inquiries and complaints
from those who communicate with sign language, the parties need to be able to
understand each other. Therefore, it is necessary for police officers to learn the
sign language in order to give prompt service to these citizens and protect
their rights.
