Ambassador Sh.Battsetseg meets Cuban First Vice Minister of Tourism

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On October 28,
H.E.Sh.Battsetseg, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Mongolia to
the Republic of Cuba, held a meeting with Mrs.Maria del Carmen, First vice
minister of Tourism of Cuba, and exchanged views on developing bilateral
cooperation between both countries in the tourism sector. On the occasion, two
sides agreed to enhance tourism sector cooperation and establish Memorandum of
Understanding between the Ministries of Tourism of both countries.
During the meeting, the Mongolian Cultural and Tourism
center, to be implemented in Cuba by the initiative of the Mongolian side with
the support of the Ministry of Environment and Tourism of Mongolia, was
presented and the Cuban side expressed its readiness to fully support and work
together on the project. Furthermore, the First vice minister invited a Mongolian
delegation to participate in the Annual International Tourism fair to be
organized in the “Varadero” tourism resort, in May 2021.
