Confirmed COVID-19 cases reach 318, with 310 recoveries

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. At today’s 11 AM daily press
briefing of the Ministry of Health, D.Nyamkhuu, Director of the National Center
of Communicable Diseases (NCCD) reported three newly detected cases of
COVID-19 in Mongolia.
“On October 9-11, the NCCD tested 2027 people in total, and
two Mongolians, who arrived on a charter flight from Tokyo, and one transport truck
driver tested positive. Therefore, the total COVID-19 cases in the country has
reached 318,” said Mr. Nyamkhuu.
Within the past three days, two people made a recovery, thus
were transferred into next stage isolation. Of the 318 cases, 310 have recovered. Currently nine patients
are receiving treatments at the NCCD, of whom five patients are in mild, while
three are in moderate conditions.
