COVID-19 detected in a Russian transport driver

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. “Last two days or on September 9 and 10, the virology laboratories of the National Center for Communicable Diseases and Darkhan-Uul aimag tested 1,816 people nationwide and one person was diagnosed with COVID-19,” said General Director of the NCCD D.Nyamkhuu at today’s press briefing of the Ministry of Health.  The infected is a 53-year old Russian transport driver.  


As of today, the number of COVID-19 cases in Mongolia is 311, with 298 recoveries. Currently, 13 patients are undergoing COVID-19 treatment at the NCCD.
