Cooperation agreement to be established in the fields of culture and tourism

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Speaker of the Parliament G.Zandanshatar received the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Kuwait to Mongolia Mohammad Faisal Al-Mutairi yesterday.


At the start of the meeting, the Ambassador congratulated the Speaker on his re-election and conveyed greetings of Speaker of National Assembly of Kuwait Marzouq Ali al-Ghanim.


Noting that this year marks the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the sides unanimously expressed satisfaction with the development of cooperation in all spheres of trade, economy and humanitarian field, particularly between the parliaments.


Briefing on the results of projects and programs implemented in Mongolia with the assistance of Kuwait, the Ambassador expressed his confidence that further strengthening of existing friendly relations would be in line with the interests of the two countries. Moreover, the two countries have untapped opportunities for cooperation in the fields of trade, economy and tourism, the Ambassador noted. Furthermore, he expressed his expectation on establishment of a cooperation agreement in the fields of culture and tourism and a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between Mongolian-Kuwaiti research center and Kuwaiti scientific research center.


The Speaker stressed the importance of realizing joint projects and programs, expanding trade and economic cooperation and increasing investment and asked the Ambassador to pay attention on increasing and stabilizing export of healthy and high-quality meat of western Mongolia.
