Germany to cooperate in developing winter sports in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. First Deputy President of Mongolian National Olympic Committee (MNOC), Member of International Olympic Committee (IOC) B.Battushig yesterday paid a courtesy call on Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany Jörn Rosenberg and exchanged views on bilateral cooperation.
Highlighting that Mongolia has been in close and active relations with Germany in the field of sports for many years, First Deputy President B.Battushig said that Mongolia highly appreciates the valuable contribution made by Germany’s high-level sports specialists and coaches to Mongolian sports and Olympism.
Briefly introducing the newly elected management team of the MNOC, he expressed willingness to cooperate in the development of winter sports in Mongolia.
For his part, the Ambassador expressed his readiness to work with MNOC to implement a winter sports development program in Mongolia and wished all the success to MNOC, led by Olympic champions, at the Tokyo-2020.
