Mining Minister meets ADB Country Director

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. On August 31, Minister of Mining and
Heavy Industry G. Yondon received delegates led by ADB Country Director Mr.
Pavit Ramachandran.
At the meeting, the sides exchanged views on how the
COVID-19 pandemic affects Mongolia’s socio-economy and underlined the importance
of coal and oil export in recovering economy.
The Minister briefed on the recently approved Action Plan of
the Mongolian Government for 2020-2024 and future policies and directions to be
adhered in the mining and heavy sector and expressed interest in further expansion
of bilateral cooperation.
