Two additional charter flights to be arranged to Kazakhstan and the U.S.

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Media and Public Relations Department of the Government reported that Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the State Emergency Commission Ya.Sodbaatar made a decision yesterday to arrange two additional charter flights to Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan on August 30 and to Seattle, the U.S on August 31, enabling about 500 Mongolian nationals to return home.


The charter flight scheduled on August 30 to Nur-Sultan will land in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan to repatriate some 30 Mongolian nationals who are unable to return home due to border closures.


By adding two more charter flights to the schedule, a total of 17 charter flights will be conducted this month to repatriate about 4240 citizens from other countries.
