Health Minister meets Japanese Ambassador

met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia Kobayashi

At the beginning of the meeting, Minister T.Munkhsaikhan noted that the Government of Japan implemented the Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital Project that will make a valuable contribution to the future development of Mongolia’s health care sector and undertook to put emphasis on stable operation of the hospital. He also thanked the Japanese side for constantly providing technical assistance and non-project grant aid in health care through the Japan International Cooperation Agency.
Ambassador Kobayashi Hiroyuki expressed
his fervent wish that the Mongolia-Japan Teaching Hospital play an important
role in improving Mongolia’s public health care service quality and
accessibility and training the sector's workforce.
The Ambassador then voiced his willingness to further expand
Mongolia-Japan relations in social sectors, especially health care, and pledged
to closely cooperate with the Mongolian side for that.
