Opportunities to be sought to advance processing industry with Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs
N.Enkhtaivan met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the
Republic of Turkey to Mongolia Ahmet Yazal.
Congratulating the Foreign Minister on his recent appointment,
Ambassador Ahmet Yazal noted that Mongolia-Turkey relations and cooperation
have been deepening in numerous areas. He also expressed his hope that the successful
organization of the virtual meeting of the Mongolian-Turkish Joint Chamber of
Commerce and Industry on July 27 will help increase trade between the two
countries, while stressing the importance of boosting bilateral economic
relations and cooperation.
Minister N.Enkhtaivan voiced his satisfaction with the
current level of bilateral relations and cooperation and requested that the
Government of Turkey provide the necessary support for Mongolians stranded in
Turkey due to the global pandemic.
The sides agreed to seek opportunities to jointly expand economic cooperation and boost trade and investments between the two countries, especially to advance agricultural processing industry.
