President Kh.Battulga casts his vote

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga cast his vote at the polling station located in the 48th secondary school of Bayanzurkh district.
Upon exiting the polling station, President Kh.Battulga said to journalists, “Three decades have passed since the country became democratic. Over that time, Mongolians have come a long way with ups and downs. I call for the young population to actively cast their vote, as their votes are crucial to the country’s development. Voter turnout is over 40 percent nationwide and over 50 percent in the capital city as of 5 PM and the polls close at 10 PM,"
“Everyone is aware that the economy has become fragile due to the global pandemic. Mongolia’s economy is not diversified and dependent on exports in a few product lines. Therefore, in collaboration with the next parliament and the government I will put efforts into reviving the economy,” added the President.
