Mongolian and Kuwaiti FMs exchange congratulatory letters on diplomatic anniversary

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 45th anniversary of
the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the State of
Kuwait fell on June 17. On the occasion, Minister of Foreign Affairs
D.Tsogtbaatar and his Kuwaiti counterpart Shiekh Ahmad Nasser
Al-Mohammed Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber Al-Sabah exchanged letters of congratulations.
In their letters, the Foreign Ministers expressed their
pleasure that relations and cooperation between Mongolia and Kuwait have deepened
in numerous fields over the past years and both confirmed their willingness
to further expand and strengthen bilateral cooperation.
In the recent past, Kuwait has provided soft loans for the construction
of Taishir Hydropower Plant and 415 km roads between Darkhan and Erdenet,
Erdenet-Bulgan-Unit, and Unit-Tarialan. Also, the construction of Burn Treatment
Center of Mongolia and the renovation of Undurkhaan Airport are currently underway
with grants from the country.

D.Tsogtbaatar to Ali Sulaiman Alsaeed, Assistant Foreign Minister for Asian
Affairs, Department of Asia Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kuwait.
Kuwait was the first Gulf country to establish diplomatic
ties with Mongolia
