28,000 students cramming for general entrance exams nationwide

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Following a decision of the Cabinet, 12th grade students in their final year of high school on May 11 started their month-long classroom training sessions to prepare for the 2020 general entrance examinations amid Covid-19.
28,000 students are attending study sessions in up to three subjects at 596 schools nationwide until June 11, reports the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports.
As per the Cabinet’s decision, teachers and students are
following safety rules such as having 10-15 students in one training session,
placing the desks 1 to 1.5 meters apart, and sticking to the seating chart.
Around 31,000 people are estimated to take the 2020 general entrance exams which are tentatively scheduled for July 2-5.
