Foreign Minister receives Chinese Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On June 3, Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar received Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui at the latter’s request.
At the meeting, the sides mutually expressed readiness to work together, focusing on the revitalization of the bilateral relations, especially economic cooperation amid COVID-19 pandemic, and join forces intensively to make up for lost time in implementing agreements reached at decision making level during high-level reciprocal visits.
Moreover, the sides also exchanged views on regional cooperation, security and stability, emphasizing the full potential for cooperation. Minister D.Tsogtbaatar stated that Mongolian side would be delighted to cooperate in this field within the framework of international law.
