Deputy Foreign Minister meets Ambassador of China
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On May 15, Deputy Minister of
Foreign Affairs B.battsetseg met with Ambassador Extraordinary and
Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Mongolia Chai Wenrui.
The sides expressed their pleasure with the ever-expanding
bilateral comprehensive strategic partnership and unanimously agreed on the necessity
of both remaining on guard and closely working together in the future to fight Covid-19 and further
prevent Covid-19 transmissions between the two countries.
Deputy Minister B.Battsetseg commended China for its
successful Covid-19 control measures and well-organized response and underlined
that the world countries have to stand together to overcome the pandemic. She
also showed readiness to closely cooperate in maintaining bilateral relations
and cooperation during the pandemic.
Ambassador Chai Wenrui noted that bilateral cooperation has been advancing not only in trade and economic sectors, but also in humanitarian sector and that the mutual support amid the pandemic brings the people of the two countries closer and deepens their friendship.
