UN Migrations Agency programme manager Victor Lutenco underlined that the utilization of flow monitoring tool plays an important role in reducing risk and pledged to provide equipment and other necessary support throughout May.

Emphasizing that the approach would be of great importance in promptly responding to Covid-19 cases, Governor S.Amarsaikhan undertook to continue using DTM until the pandemic subsides, make regulations to keep the information being collected from citizens confidential by means of digital technology, and train specialists and exchange information with the International Organization for Migration in the future.

The sides also talked about fully introducing the approach in Mongolia.
