State Secretary of Foreign Ministry receives Academician S.Chuluun

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On April 21, D.Davaasuren, Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, received Dr. Prof. S.Chuluun, Director of the Institute of History and Ethnology of the Mongolian Academy of Sciences, Secretary General of the International Association for Mongol Studies (IAMS), at the latter's request.
During the meeting, Dr. Prof S.Chuluun provided information on international projects and activities in the field of Mongol studies and thanked for the successful cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in this field.
Noting the importance of promoting Mongolia’s history, culture, customs, heritage and socio-economic achievements and progress abroad, and strengthening the unified national system for advertising, Secretary of State D.Davaasuren underlined that the “Mongolian Heritages Around the World” project, being implemented in partnership with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, is part of Mongolia’s soft power policy and makes an important contribution to the transmission of Mongolian history and heritage to the younger generation.
A total of 20 volumes of books will be published in Mongolian and English as part of the “Mongolian Heritages Around the World” project and 4 volumes are now available to readers worldwide. Dr. Prof. S.Chuluun expressed his desire to publish the next two volumes of the book with the support of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
D.Davaasuren, the State Secretary, mentioned that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs has been supporting and cooperating with this project from the very beginning, and pledged to support and cooperate in the future.
