261 Mongolians arrive from the Republic of KoreaSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 255 adults and 6 infants returned to their homeland yesterday evening on chartered flight en route Seoul-Ulaanbaatar. The citizens have been involved in laboratory testing for coronavirus disease in the Republic of Korea and they all tested negative for the virus.
During the flight, two inspectors from the General Agency for Specialized Inspection checked body temperature of the passengers and conducted surveillance.
As 11 of the passengers arrived from Seoul via different countries, they were transported to the National Center for Communicable Disease for three-week isolation. Other 24 passengers were placed in quarantine in the Military Central Hospital and the remaining passengers were isolated in sanatoriums.
The aircraft transported 3.8 tons of cargo aside from the passengers and it included most needed medicine, hospital equipment and diagnostic devices.
