Khurd band to organize fundraising e-concert for COVID-19 fight

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. In encouragement for the actions to prevent COVID-19 infection, voluntary donation campaigns by citizens, celebrities, largest entities, and companies have been expanding.
Today, members of ‘Khurd’ rock band informed Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin about its upcoming e-concert to be held on March 8, International Women's Day, for fundraising to the COVID-19 preventive measures. With the concert, the band also aims to call artists for contributions. E-concert will be aired live through the Mongol HD TV and webpage of Khurd band at 09.00-12.00, March 8.
Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin said, “Donations to be
collected thanks to the concert will be used for purchasing protective wears
and others to public workers who are working to battle COVID-19. ”
The list of donors has also been enriched by ‘Hero Entertainment’ production and ‘Avarga’ Institute. ‘Hero Entertainment’ production presented 200 pieces of protective wear and 40 pieces of eyewear, produced by French brand ‘Delta Plus’, while the Avarga Institute donated 200 head of sheep.
