Head coach of National Football team leaves job

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ German football manager Michael Weiß who has worked as the Head coach of Mongolian National Football team since March 2017 left his job upon the expiry of his two-plus-one-year-contract with the Mongolian Football Federation.


In connection with this, Mongolian Football Federation’s President A.Ganbaatar and Secretary-General U.Shijir met with the coach on January 24. They presented him the Medal of Merit of the Mongolian Football Federation and wished the best in his future endeavors.


Under his coaching, the Mongolian team officially played 19 matches and won its first league of the East Asian Football Championship for the first time
