Agriculture Minister meets his Argentinian counterpart

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ During his working visit to Berlin, Germany, Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry Ch.Ulaan held a working meeting with Mr. Luis Basterra, Argentina's Minister of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries.
Aside from agreeing to partner in developing economic cooperation and trade of animal and crop farming products, the two sides came to a decision to carry out joint projects on improving animal health in eastern region of Mongolia and making livestock healthy. The project will be realized within the United Nations Office for South-south cooperation and the National Animal Health Service of Argentina (SENASA) will be responsible for the project.
At the end of the meeting, the sides established a memorandum of cooperation, confirming further collaboration, its scope and timeline. In frames of the memorandum, the sides will develop a working plan.
