Cooperation discussed with University of Oxford

Officials of the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports headed by
Minister Yo.Baatarbileg to the Education World Forum met with representatives
of the University of Oxford.
The sides
exchanged views on the opportunities to bring international recognition to the language
proficiency of Mongolian English language teachers and the education they received in Mongolia and partner in capacity building of teachers.
It was
agreed at the meeting that the University of Oxford would help assess the
international competitiveness of the teachers’ language proficiency, knowledge they acquired in Mongolia, and the country’s teacher education
program and both sides would organize online and classroom upskilling courses
and experience-sharing trips.
Moreover,
the Mongolian representatives presented their projects to companies engaged in
education-related projects, Discovery Education and Matific, and proposed
working together to develop digital learning content for kindergarten and
primary school children.
