State Secretary of Education Ministry visits Magic Mongolia – 2 center

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Secretary of State of Ministry of Education, Science and Sports B.Bayarsaikhan visited the ‘Magic Mongolia-2’ project’s Child Protection and Development Center located in far western district of Ulaanbaatar city. 


With contributions and donations from more than 60 thousand organizations and individuals, ‘Lantuun Dohio’ NGO has built this center aimed at rendering professional child protection and development services to children living in this area and children who became an object of all forms of violence including physical and sexual violence. 


The center has a daily capacity to provide food and temporary shelter for more than 70 children, as well as forensic, medical and therapy services and ballet and yoga classes for them. 


Thanking for the accomplishment by the Lantuun Dohio LGO for children development and safety, Secretary of State B.Bayarsaikhan pledged to give support for their works in the future and handed over computers and children’s books to the ‘Magic Mongolia-2’ center. 


On November 1, 2019, the National Day of Giving, at the initiative by Ms. B.Bayarsaikhan, individuals and national companies donated a total of MNT 345 million within 24 hours for the ‘Magic Mongolia - 2’. Ch.Ganjavkhlan, founder and chair of ‘Lantuun Dohio’ NGO said that these donations are being spent for completing the construction of dance and rehabilitation halls at the center.


Secretary of State B.Bayarsaikhan also mentioned that variable cost of a kindergarten at the ‘Magic Mongolia-2’ center will be paid by the state budget.
