Foreign Minister meets South Korean Ambassador

/MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar on December 24 met with the
newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of
Korea to Mongolia Lee Yeo-hong, congratulating him on presenting his letter of
credence and assuming the office.
At the
meeting, Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar stressed the importance of solemnly
marking the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic
relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, which falls next year, advancing
bilateral political talks, and deepening bilateral relations in trade,
investment, and other socio-economic spheres and mainly discussed international
and regional issues with the Ambassador.
Expressing
pleasure at his appointment to Mongolia, Ambassador Lee Yeo-hong said he will
be working closely with the Mongolian side to elevate bilateral relations and strengthen
citizen exchanges between the two countries.
