Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of the capital city S.Amarsaikhan today met with Ambassadors of Mongolia to overseas countries.

At the beginning of the meeting, Governor S.Amarsaikhan extended greetings of 380th anniversary of Ulaanbaatar city and wished success to Ambassadors, who play significant role in promoting Mongolia to the foreign countries and broaden cooperation.

“There are numerous issues to be resolved in Ulaanbaatar city. Since we have a limited financial capability to tackle these issues, we are paying attention on drawing foreign and domestic investment. Also we are seeking opportunities to efficiently collaborate with you, Ambassadors. Approximately MNT 20 trillion is estimated to be required to bring infrastructure of the capital city and urban planning at new level within the next five years. At least 10 percent of it is possible to be covered with foreign investment,” said the Governor and presented projects to be carried out in the capital city.

During the meeting, Ambassadors of Mongolia to countries such as Japan, Hungary and Kazakhstan shared their views on cooperation in improving waste management and public transport service of Ulaanbaatar city as well as developing gardens in cemetery and so on.
