Deputy Foreign Minister meets S.Korean Ambassador

November 28, Deputy Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg received Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to Mongolia Lee
Yeo-hong.
Mentioning that the ‘Comprehensive Partnership’ relations of the two countries are actively developing, Ms. Battsetseg emphasized the importance of focusing on intensifying trade, economy and investment cooperation further. She also asked the Ambassador to make efforts to enrich bilateral cooperation with new content and organize various activities towards strengthening bilateral friendly relations in connection with the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, which will be marked next year.
Noting that many Mongolians are studying and working in S.Korea, the Deputy Minister thanked for continued efforts of Korean government for improvement of their living and working conditions and said she hopes that the Ambassador will collaborate in facilitating mutual travel conditions.
For his part, the Ambassador
pledged to make his efforts towards development of bilateral relations,
especially expansion of mutually beneficial economic cooperation. He also
emphasized that high-level visits to be implemented within the upcoming 30th
anniversary of the diplomatic relations between the two countries would give
impetus to deepen the bilateral relations.
