Memorandum signed for collaboration in protection of traditional sports and gamesSociety
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. On November 18, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Sports has signed a Memorandum with UNESCO Traditional Sports and Games Ad Hoc Advisory Committee on protecting traditional sports and games of Mongolia, and promoting it to the public.
In its framework, the sides are to conduct joint research on the issue of the development of traditional sports and games, organize promotions, and involve corresponding minister and government representatives, researchers, and professionals in international conferences and training on the matter.
Deputy Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports G.Ganbayar, and President of UNESCO Traditional Sports and Games Ad Hoc Advisory Committee Khalil Ahmed Khan signed the memorandum. Corresponding officials were present at the signing ceremony.
