Deputy Foreign Minister meets new Ambassador of Italy

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia B.Battsetseg held a meeting with new Ambassador of the Italian Republic to Mongolia Laura Botta.
At the beginning of the meeting, Deputy Foreign Minister B.Battsetseg highlighted that the friendly relationship between Mongolia and Italy has been intensifying in recent years as well as political, economic, cultural and educational partnership. She then emphasized further possibilities of cooperation with Italy in value-added production and exporting Mongolian cashmere products paired with Italian technology to European markets.
For her part, Ambassador Laura Botta expressed her commitment to pay attention on cooperation in arts, culture and education fields during her mission as Italian Ambassador to Mongolia. The sides also talked about the next meeting of intergovernmental commission of the government of Mongolia and Italy to be hosted in Rome and cultural events for celebration of 50th diplomatic anniversary to be marked next year.
