Best Practices of LLDCs to be shared in Corridor Development

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The Government of Mongolia is organizing international meeting “Meeting on Best Practices in Corridor Development and Management for the Benefit of LLDCs and Transit Countries” in collaboration with the United Nations Office of the High Representatives for the Least Developed Countries, Landlocked Developing Countries and Small Island Developing States (UN-OHRLLS) on October 29-30 in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia.
The meeting
to be organized under the auspices of
the President of Mongolia will bring together senior officials from more
than 30 countries, representatives of 10 international organizations and around
100 government officials of Mongolia.
The meeting will review the state of institutional arrangements of existing transit transport corridors and facilitate dialogue and share experiences on corridor management among Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs) and transit countries from different regions and release recommendations.
Moreover, the meeting is part of the preparatory process taking place before the midterm review for the Vienna Programme of Action for Land Locked Developing Countries (LLDCs) which is to take place on December 5-6 in New York, USA.
