Czech Deputy Foreign Minister discusses visa service improvement

/MONTSAME/ Deputy Minister for Legal and Consular Affairs Martin Smolek and Head
of Visa Department David Novy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic
are paying a working visit to Mongolia from October 23 to 24. During their
visit, the officials are taking part in the third consular consultative meeting
between Mongolia and the Czech Republic.
As part of
his visit, Czech Deputy Minister Martin Smolek is having meetings with State
Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs D.Davaasuren, Director General of
MFA Consular Department, and authorities of the Ministry of Justice and Home
Affairs, Ministry of Labor and Social Protection, Ministry of Road and
Transport Development, and National Police Agency to discuss visa issues,
amendments to consular laws and regulations, bilateral cooperation in issuing
short term visas through VFS Global center, and the recently launched program
for specialists in charge of employee card applications.
Moreover, the
two sides are assessing the measures included in the five bilateral agreements in
social, security, cultural, and educational fields that were established not
long ago and talk about the actions to be taken by the two sides to better their
visa and consular services.
