MPs meet with delegation of the Community of Democracies
Society
Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Members of Parliament L.Bold and N.Oyundari today received delegation of the Community of Democracies.
Next year will mark the 30th anniversary of democratic revolution in Mongolia. Since the 20th anniversary of the Community of Democracies will be celebrated next year as well, MP L.Bold requested to jointly mark these anniversaries. He also emphasized that Mongolia is giving great importance to develop democratic education, promote formation of civil society organizations, strengthen regional activities of the Community of Democracies as well as cooperate with other countries and exchange experiences.
“Mongolia hosted the 7th Ministerial Conference of the Community of Democracies in Ulaanbaatar city in April, 2013. This became a tangible step for Mongolia as its member state to implement concept of the country’s foreign policy vision targeted to solving regional and worldwide pressing issues, especially strengthening democracy and ensuring human rights and freedom,” MP L.Bold said.
