Agreement on radio frequency coordination signed with China

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. The 3rd meeting on radio frequency coordination in border areas of Mongolia and People’s Republic of China was held on October 9-11 in Beijing, China.
At the meeting, the sides introduced about planning, distribution and policy coordination of radio frequency in border areas and talked over about the effective coordination of IMT system radio frequency use. Moreover, the sides reported about the result of monitoring conducted on the use of radio frequency in border areas and exchanged views on further operations without mutual interference.
Reaching a unified
understanding on further cooperation, the authorities of relevant
administrations of the two countries signed a first-ever agreement on the
coordination of radio frequency band in border area, which became an important
step to confirm borderline of radio frequency. By doing so, Mongolia has become
the 2nd country to sign the agreement of radio frequency
coordination in border areas.
