/MONSTAME/ At its regular meeting on October 2, the Cabinet made the following
decisions:
- The Cabinet
decided to dismiss State Secretary of the Ministry of Health B.Byanbadorj
who is to study abroad.
State Secretary of the Ministry of Energy Z.Mendsaikhan was dismissed and appointed
as Head of the Government Agency for Policy Coordination on State Property.
- Ministers
were assigned to study and address the requests Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh received
from local authorities and citizens during his working visits to Orkhon, Bulgan,
and Khuvsgul aimags between September 21 and 24 and report back to the Cabinet
Secretariat.
- Minister of Finance
Ch.Khurelbaatar was granted the authority to sign draft loan agreements on
additional financing for the joint projects of the Government of Mongolia and
the Asian Development Bank ‘Regional Improvement of Border Services’, ‘Fourth
Health Sector Development’, and ‘Regional Road Development and Maintenance’.
- As of the
first half of 2019, 84.2 percent of 3736 resolutions and decisions of the Parliament
and its standing committees, security council, and the government, presidential
and prime ministerial decrees, cabinet meeting minutes, and official tasks have
been fulfilled.
- The implementation
progress of the five main policies, 20 objectives, and 135 actions for Mongolia’s
social and economic development for 2019 is at 51.7 percent as of the first
half of 2019.
- The 2016-2020
action plan of the government has been complete by 64.1 percent as of the first
half.
- The Cabinet decided to celebrate July 9 as the Day of National Costume, concluding that it would expand the scope of the Deeltei Mongol (Mongolians in Deel) festival, create jobs and tourism products while promoting the traditional attire and making people take pride in it.
