Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. President of the Senate of Czech Republic Jaroslav Kubera paid a courtesy call on the President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga on September 30.

The visit which precedes the 70th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries is expected to be fruitful and the basis to elevate bilateral cooperation, said the President Kh.Battulga at the beginning of the meeting.

The sides concurred that bilateral relations in many sectors, such as economy, culture and humanity are insufficient even though it would turn 70 years since the countries established the diplomatic relations. Thus the sides came to a decision to focus on making further bilateral cooperation mutually fruitful and exporting goods together to third country. In particular, two countries have possibilities to expand economic relations by means of blending Mongolia’s raw materials and Czech industrial technology. As Czech is now using high-tech broadly, having stopped to export raw materials, it will be more productive for both countries to collaborate in utilizing potentials thoroughly, introducing technological modernization and processing instead of constructing new plants in Mongolia.

During the meeting, the sides exchanged views in detail about expanding bilateral cultural, sports and people-to-people relations.
