Foreign Minister meets UAE Minister of State

On September 27 Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar, who is
participating in the general debate of the 74th session of the General
Assembly, met with Ahmed Ali Al Sayegh, the Minister of State at the Ministry
of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates.
The sides exchanged views on
possibilities of expanding bilateral relations and cooperation in the
fields of trade, investment, energy, and environment.
Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar said he is pleased that the
projects implemented by UAE in Mongolia are making important contributions to
environmental protection on top of improving the livelihoods of Mongolians. The
Minister also informed that a draft resolution on the establishment of a
Mongolian Embassy in Abu Dhabi was submitted to the Parliament of Mongolia. The
parties then talked about continuing traditional support of each other under
multilateral cooperation, working together in agriculture, and participation of Mongolia in the Expo 2020
Dubai.
At the meeting they agreed to consider the establishment of
a Memorandum of Understanding on setting up a mechanism for political
consultation meeting between the Foreign Ministries.
