Mongolia’s Ambassador attends UN High-Level Meeting

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolia’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary and Permanent Representative to the United Nations S.Sukhbold attended the UN High-Level Meeting on Universal Health Coverage: Moving together to build a healthier world, held on September 23 during the General Debate of the 74th UN General Assembly.
The meeting aimed to
accelerate progress toward universal health coverage (UHC), including financial
risk protection, access to quality essential health-care services and access to
safe, effective, quality and affordable essential medicines and vaccines for
all.
Mr. Sukhbold reported on
policy, programs and measures being taken by Mongolian government for protection
of health of the population as well as encountering challenges.
The High-Level Meeting brought
together heads of states and governments, foreign ministers, health ministers,
permanent representatives to the United Nations as well as representatives of
international and non-government organizations.
