Friendship Medal conferred upon WWF Regional Director Prasanna De Silva

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Pursuant to a decree of President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga, Asia and the Pacific Regional Director at the Worldwide Fund for Nature Prasanna De Silva was awarded with ‘Friendship’ Medal. Chief of Staff of the President's Office Z.Enkhbold presented the award on September 11.
The medal was conferred upon him in recognition of his tangible contribution to Mongolia’s development by initiating and implementing numerous works in the fields of society, economy, education, child protection, agriculture and foreign relations. Head of the Cabinet Secretariat of Government of Mongolia L.Oyun-Erdene attended the award ceremony.
Mr. Prasanna De Silva has worked as head of international programs and director of operations of international organizations such as World Vision and WWF.
